The McDonald's All-American Game is the nations #1 postseason showcase for high school seniors and is undoubtedly the premiere high school basketball event of the year. Teams were picked from a field of 600 nominees by a selection committee chaired by Hall-of-Fame coach Morgan Wootten. More than 1000 players have competed in the event since 1978 and a number of players have gone onto become NBA legends as well as current NBA superstars. Some of the past stars of the event include Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant & Derrick Rose to name a few. The 2012 McDonald's All-American Game will take place on March 28th from the United Center in Chicago, IL and will be broadcast live by ESPN at 8:30 pm Central Time.*Below are two slideshow's of the players selected for the event.
