ReplyDelete- Mr. Polychronopoulos -
DeleteThank you for reaching out. Need to evaluate a few more players before rankings are updated, but it should be soon. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I wouldn't put too much stock into rankings this early. While all of these players are certainly deserving of the honor, it's really more for fun than anything else. Once high school rolls around, that's when it really counts.

ReplyDeleteHunter Jackson and Mike Saunders for national ranked George Hill Rising Stars are both nationally ranked in Hoop Scoop, MSE, and ProlificPreformanceBasketball. Hunter won D2 two years ago playing up 2019 and Saunders is considered top PG in class by most.
ReplyDeleteBoth also ranked in 2020ballers.com along with Brevin Jefferson

ReplyDeleteBest players that $ can buy isn't always the best team!!!! They will have to go back to others teams for AAU Nationals.
ReplyDeleteWell we see they prevailed!

ReplyDeleteYes my source says they will begin playing together as a team after NYBL. They also added a 6'4 kid and return same core group of kids. They say Hunter Jackson is 5'10 now. We will know alot more about all the teams by the end of the month.

ReplyDeleteHunter has been 13 for some time . I hope he is 5-10". 6-4" kid is from B team.G3 is a great program! Shemar will help anyone---Hightower won't see the floor on that team, like last yr!!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw G3 at Michigan State last weekend, Hunter more 5'8-5'9 instead of 5'10. Big kid is not bad. He rebounds and plays middle on defense. Misses alot inside. They only had 7 kids so the Morrow rumor sounds accurate. Still a very strong team that rely on gaurd play to dictate tempo of game. They have great chemistry and I think that will always keep them relevant.

ReplyDeleteEvery kid on team is legal age wide and grade was. Is it fair for Shemar, Billings, Suggs, Carpenter, Harris, Kyree, or any other kid that turned 13 after September 1 in the 6th grade to play at Nationals? Everyone glorifies Morrow but atleast Hunter, Suggs, Billings and a few others play up 7th and 8th and still win.

DeleteAs long as your not 14 before August 31 2014 and in the 6th grade, you can play.

ReplyDeleteNYBL is a beast!! Who cares about AAU Nationals. All the top teams are playing in league, but most of the all star teams will have to split up because of boarder state rules.
ReplyDeleteNext year EYBL will have league for middle school and they do have same rules as AAU.
Brock Williams ... point guard for the Wildcats is the best 6th grader I have seen!! Out of NC. Why wasn't he mentioned?
ReplyDeleteI saw BROCK WILLIAMS take the ball from SHAMAR 6 times in 1 game in DC this year! an score on him. The Williams kid should be #1
ReplyDeleteJalen Johnson from Wisconsin is a great player with great court vision. Watch out for him. He will be top 10 in 2 years. Wisconsin Playground Warriors 2020
ReplyDeleteLook out for Damiko Tidmore Jr 6'0" c/f and Andre Best pg/f out of Portland, Oregon Team balance. They lost to Oakland soldiers loaded team by one. Should make noise at the nationals this year.
ReplyDeleteSome big-time performances this past weekend from a few of these players. Donovan Billings led Wisconsin United to a 12U GNBA Championship. Billings had 31pts vs. Nebraska Hoops Elite in a 78-68 victory.
ReplyDeleteThe real story of the weekend was Jason Harris. The big man was named MVP of the NYBL, after leading the West Coast All-Stars to a 6th grade championship. Harris & the West Coast All-Stars even defeated Shemar Morrow & the Oakland Soldiers in the semi-finals. The Soldiers were undefeated in NYBL play until that point.
Look for Jason Harris to contend for the top player in his class, once PC's updated c/o 2020 rankings are released. http://instagram.com/p/o_80BdxOqy/
Heard of George King III? Kid out of Oakland or Mountain House. He plays on both teams (I believe?) He was real good after following him at a few of the tournaments.
ReplyDeleteThere a 5"5 10 yr old big pg out of Chicago named phil berryhill Jr he play at shoesmith on the southside he a very skilled scoring and passing pg that does everything on the court from rebounding to blocking shot, he put on a show at the southside ymca's yba.. he is a must see fore sure..
ReplyDeleteAnyone interested in playing aau with a competitive schedule from the Midwest Indiana Wisconsin or Illinois call me at 312 259 2210 we are looking for a Center and a foward for this upcoming season 7th grade 13u
ReplyDeleteAnyone looking for AAU elite travel ball close to Oregon. Give me a call. Looking for a center but will work out anyone interested. Call 971 282 5836
ReplyDeleteOr team is ranked 5th on the west coast.
DeleteJalen Eakins is a great PG out of Kansas. He has great vision and excels in transition. He is a defensive mechanic and will rack up the steals. He can also put up a string of buckets in a hurry. 5'2 guard who is strong and fast. And good at finishing at rim. Love the way this kid plays.
ReplyDeleteCole Cook 5'8 SG/SF from NC. WAY better than Julian Newman.
ReplyDeleteJordan Lynch 5'6 pg from north carolina. CRAZY handles and passing ability
